“India and Modi are their greatest enemy” — Terrorist group preparing female fidayeen, intelligence agency says

An intelligence agency has obtained information about a secret conspiracy by Lashkar-e-Taiba.
According to reports and leaked footage, some terrorist organizations active in Pakistan are openly indoctrinating women and girls with extremist ideology and preparing them for fidayeen (suicide) operations. One report and leaked video reference training programs run by groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET), in which India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are portrayed as enemies.

Indian intelligence agencies say these recruitment and radicalization efforts intensified after the Pahalgam attack—which claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians—and the subsequent Operation Sindoor. The leaked clips show LET founder Hafiz Abdur Rauf and other trainers conducting live online sessions aimed at women, covering recruitment, brainwashing, and interpretations of jihad. Rauf’s name has appeared in recent years among active leaders in jihadi networks, and there have been reports of training camps operating under his direction.

The report states that LET is no longer confined to conventional combat training; it now operates on social, educational, and political fronts as well. The organization has reportedly established civilian-facing platforms such as PMML (LET’s political front), the Muslim Youth League, and a Muslim Women/Girls League, through which women are being linked to extremist ideas under the guise of “empowerment.” The footage available to intelligence agencies also suggests the presence of local military or police officials, a detail that agencies are treating with utmost seriousness in their investigations.

In the video clips, another LET member, Imtiaz Ahmad Makki, addresses women and declares that India and Modi are their “greatest enemy,” adding that their jihad will now be advanced through PMML. Intelligence sources say these activities aim not only to train women for combat roles but also to foster extremism at a socio-cultural level, spreading influence within households, schools, and communities.

Defense experts say that accurately identifying and dismantling such hidden networks—embedded within educational and social structures—will require multinational intelligence cooperation and local surveillance. Officials have clarified that legal and intelligence actions are ongoing based on the footage and information, while media reports are drawing international attention to this dangerous trend.
