New Delhi: The problem of hair loss is steadily increasing among the general population. For young girls and women, thinning hair has become a growing concern, affecting both their appearance and self-confidence. The situation has reached a point where clinics are witnessing a rising number of female patients seeking treatment for this issue.

According to the President of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists, several key factors contribute to this trend. Experts highlight that one of the primary causes of hair loss in women is hormonal imbalance, commonly referred to as female pattern baldness. Over the past decade, there has been a consistent rise in such cases, indicating a significant shift in health patterns related to hair loss among women.
