New Delhi. A tragic road accident occurred on the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway involving a car carrying five friends who were returning to Noida after visiting Baba Mahakal in Ujjain. The incident took place near chainage number 194, in the Paparda and Nangal Rajawatan police station area.
The Haryana-registered car was reportedly traveling at high speed when it rammed into an unidentified heavy vehicle from behind. The impact was so severe that four occupants died on the spot.
The sole survivor stated that the truck driver did not stop after the collision and dragged the car for several kilometers, causing it to be completely mangled and resulting in the deaths of four passengers.
Police reached the scene promptly and rescued those trapped in the vehicle. The injured man has been admitted to a nearby hospital, where his condition remains critical. The deceased have not yet been formally identified. Their bodies have been sent to the mortuary for post-mortem examination, and efforts are underway to inform their families.
