After the United States, China has put forward its claim, stating that it played a role in facilitating peace between India and Pakistan.
Beijing: Amid growing turbulence in global geopolitics, China has made a significant claim, asserting that it acted as a mediator in resolving the recent armed confrontation between India and Pakistan. This statement was made by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during a seminar held in Beijing focusing on international developments and China’s foreign relations.
Wang Yi said that among the major sensitive issues addressed by China this year, tensions between India and Pakistan were also included. His assertion has sparked fresh debate at the international level, particularly because India has consistently opposed any third-party intervention in matters concerning its bilateral relations.
