Udupi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the message of the Bhagavad Gita goes far beyond spirituality, describing it as an eternal guide for nation-building and the welfare of humanity.
Addressing the Lakh Kantha Gita Parayana program at the sacred Sri Krishna Math in Karnataka’s Udupi, the Prime Minister emphasized that the teachings delivered by Lord Krishna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra illustrate that, at times, the end of tyrants becomes necessary to establish peace and truth.
