Strengthening India’s Modern Rail Infrastructure Expected
Mumbai: The Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train project has achieved a significant milestone with the successful construction of the second mountain tunnel in Palghar district, Maharashtra. This development marks an important turning point in India’s first high-speed rail project. On Wednesday, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced the achievement, highlighting the rapid progress of the project. He stated that the entire nation is closely monitoring the advancement of the high-speed rail initiative, which is expected to bring a transformative change in intercity travel in the coming months and significantly strengthen India’s modern rail infrastructure.
