Mumbai: The troubles for Rajasthan Royals (RR) team manager Romy Bhinder may increase. During the IPL 2026 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), his use of a mobile phone in the team’s dugout could prove costly. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) may take disciplinary action against him over this incident.
In the match held in Guwahati, Romy was seen sitting beside the team’s emerging batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi while using his mobile phone. A BCCI official has also acknowledged that the team manager violated the rules.
