New Delhi: Most customers purchasing a new car are unaware that even a minor mistake made during aftermarket modifications can give the automobile company the right to reject the vehicle’s warranty. According to experts, cutting the car’s wiring or tampering with its electronic systems is among the leading reasons for warranty cancellation.
In many cases, car owners install accessories that are not included in the vehicle’s original features. This often requires adding new wiring or altering the existing electrical setup. Such modifications can negatively affect the vehicle’s electrical system, and as a result, the manufacturer may refuse to honor the warranty.
