New Delhi: In an effort to strengthen their position in the Indian Premier League 2026 season, Sunrisers Hyderabad has made a significant change to its squad. The team has brought in South Africa’s emerging star Gerald Coetzee as a replacement for the injured fast bowler David Payne, who has been ruled out of the tournament.
Payne had played only two matches for the franchise this season before suffering a serious ankle injury, which has forced him to miss the remainder of the tournament.
