As part of their preparations for the Junior Asia Cup 2026, the Malaysia Under-21 men’s hockey team will tour India for a series of eight practice matches. The fixtures will be held at the SAI Netaji Subhas Southern Centre in Bengaluru. Malaysia will face the Indian junior team in five matches and the SAI team in the remaining three. Indian head coach Frederic Soyez described the series as a valuable opportunity to evaluate team strategy, player combinations, and individual performances. After returning from a recent tour of Belgium, India will use this home series to strengthen its preparations and build momentum ahead of the prestigious continental tournament.
