After days of intense heat and high humidity, weather conditions have improved across Delhi and several parts of India. Rain accompanied by strong winds has brought much-needed relief to residents of the national capital. The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall in Delhi through Wednesday. Similar weather conditions are expected across northwestern, central, and northeastern regions of the country. States including Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh may also witness heavy rainfall, raising the risk of landslides and flash floods. Authorities have advised citizens to remain alert and follow official weather updates and safety guidelines.
