New Delhi: Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, who has been on a hunger strike for the past 23 days, remains under medical supervision as his wife, Dr. Geetanjali Angmo, has once again approached the Delhi High Court seeking his transfer to a private hospital. Challenging an earlier single-judge ruling, she argued that every individual has the fundamental right to choose their preferred medical facility. According to her, keeping Wangchuk at Safdarjung Hospital violates this right. Meanwhile, doctors from Safdarjung Hospital and AIIMS continue to monitor his condition. Hospital authorities have stated that his health remains stable, with signs of gradual improvement.
