Four NCC cadets remain missing after they were swept away by the strong current while bathing in the Yamuna River in Delhi’s Alipur area. The group of five friends had entered the river, but one stayed back after deciding not to go in. He immediately alerted nearby residents and informed the police after witnessing the incident. Rescue operations involving the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), fire department personnel, divers, and local police have continued without interruption. Despite more than 24 hours of intensive efforts, no trace of the missing students has been found. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
