New Delhi: Security agencies have intensified vigilance ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Punjab. Recently, a video circulating on social media allegedly showed pro-Khalistan slogans written on a train stationed at Ferozepur Cantonment Railway Station. However, the authenticity of the footage has not been independently verified. Following the incident, police launched an investigation by reviewing CCTV footage and collecting forensic evidence. Meanwhile, controversy surrounding a film based on human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra continues. In view of the heightened sensitivity and security concerns, authorities have significantly strengthened security arrangements across Punjab to ensure the Prime Minister’s visit proceeds safely and smoothly.
