New Delhi. In states like Maharashtra, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, the second wave of corona has started slowing down. In 12 districts of Maharashtra with the highest number of corona cases in the country, there has been a decline in infection. But many states, including Bihar, Haryana, Himachal, have raised the government’s concern. Health Ministry Joint Secretary Luv Agarwal said in a press conference on Monday that states like Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra are reducing corona cases. There are signs of decrease in corona cases coming daily in Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Ladakh, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Daman and Diu. Love Aggarwal said that in 12 districts of Maharashtra, a decrease in corona cases is being recorded in Aurangabad, Dhule, Bhandara, Gondia, Jalgaon, Latur, Mumbai, Nanded, Nandurbar, Thane and Washim districts.
The Health Ministry has said that on one hand there is a decrease in corona cases in some states and in some other states, there is an increase in the number of new cases coming every day. He said that this is an early achievement and there is a need to continue working on it. He also said that if the vigilance was reduced, the signs of improvement would be lost.
