11-member delegation including Acharya Pramod Krishnam met Rakesh Tikait
New Delhi (EMS). The agitation of the farmers against the agricultural laws has also got the support of the Sant Samaj. An 11-member delegation of prominent saints of the country reached the Ghazipur border along with Jagat Guru Shankaracharya Swami Narendranand Saraswati of Kashi Sumeru Peetha under the leadership of Kalki Peethadhishwar Acharya Pramod Krishnam. During this, he gave a letter of support to Chaudhary Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union and appealed to the central government to withdraw all three agricultural laws.
Swami Narendranand Saraswati said that farmers have been protesting for about two and a half months, but no hearing is being held. The government should withdraw all three agricultural laws. Farmers will be greatly damaged by these laws. He said that the 26 January incident was a conspiracy to discredit the farmers. The central government talks about everyone’s support and development, but this is not happening. He said that the Sant Samaj is with the farmers in this battle of rights. All possible help will be provided to the feeders. While giving a letter of support to the farmer leader Rakesh Tikait, the farmers also honored him by showering flowers on him. During this, Rakesh Tikait announced to build a huge memorial at the movement site at UP Gate. He said that the water brought from India and abroad will be included in the masonry to make this monument. Also, soil from different places will be used.
Another farmer died on the Singhu border
Another farmer, who was agitating against agricultural laws, died on Tuesday morning. The reason is being told heart attack. The incident is of the Singhu border located between Delhi-Haryana. The name of the deceased was Harinder and age was around 50 years. He was a resident of Sewa village in Panipat district.
