Women’s Football League will start from March 25

New Delhi. The Women’s Football League will start from 25 March while the Corporate Futsal League will be held in April. The new 2021-22 season will begin in June with the Delhi Cup which is a knockout competition and all clubs recognized by the federation can take part in the competition. At the same time, football competitions will start with the Senior Division League from March 15. Football Delhi has taken this decision in its executive committee meeting. In order to meet the deadline for nominating clubs from the national capital to the National Second Division League, the union halted all its activities on the same day last year due to the corona virus epidemic. The Executive Committee decided to start the selection trial of Delhi state team sub junior girls (under-15) from 20 February. This will be accompanied by the preparation of the National Sub Junior Championship through which talent will be sought for India’s Under-17 women’s team. This team has to play in the next FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup.
