Hyderabad: Former cricketer Ambati Rayudu has suggested that Rajasthan Royals opener Yashasvi Jaiswal should consider moving to another franchise. According to Rayudu, the growing popularity and impressive performances of emerging batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi have shifted much of the attention toward the young player, causing Jaiswal’s strong performances to receive less recognition.
Rayudu stated that despite Jaiswal’s ability to win matches single-handedly, he is gradually being overshadowed by the spotlight surrounding Vaibhav within the Rajasthan Royals setup. He believes that under these circumstances, Jaiswal would benefit from joining a different franchise where he can establish himself more prominently and receive the appreciation he deserves.
Speaking on the matter, Rayudu said that Jaiswal should look for a team where he can play with greater freedom and continue to grow as a leading player. He added that Jaiswal cannot continue playing under pressure while constantly sharing attention with another rising star. According to Rayudu, if Jaiswal joins another franchise, he has the talent and capability to guide the team to victory through his own performances.
