Several districts across the state have suffered significant damage due to intense storms, heavy rainfall, and lightning strikes. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed all District Magistrates to submit status reports every three hours and ensure that relief operations are carried out on priority. Districts including Barabanki, Bahraich, Unnao, Hardoi, and Kanpur Dehat have reported loss of life, livestock casualties, and extensive crop damage. Adverse weather conditions have also caused destruction to several houses. The Chief Minister has instructed officials to immediately reach the affected areas and provide necessary assistance and compensation to the victims without delay.
