In Vigyan Bhavan, when Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal started talks with the leaders of 40 farmer organizations, the farmers raised the demand for withdrawal of the law only. During the lunch, the farmers said that the government is not negotiating our major demands. When we talked about the NIA, the Center raised the issue of laws. Farmer leaders also opposed sending notices on behalf of the National Investigation Agency to the people associated with the movement. Organizations said the NIA is being used to harass farmers. On this, the government replied that if you see such an innocent farmer, then you give a list, we will see this matter immediately.
Farmers take out rally rally on Republic Day
The hearing on the matter of tractor rally by farmers on Republic Day was again heard in the Supreme Court on Wednesday. The Supreme Court has refused to intervene in the dispute and said that only Delhi Police can allow it. Apart from this, resentment was expressed by the Supreme Court on the questions being raised on the committee. The Chief Justice said during the hearing on Wednesday that we will not give any decision on the tractor rally, it is not right for the court to stop any rally. In such a situation, Delhi Police should take a decision on this. That is, now the ball of decision on the tractor rally has reached the court of Delhi Police. During the hearing on Wednesday, Chief Justice S.A. Bobde advised the lawyers in the court to appeal to the farmers to carry out the tractor rally peacefully.
Farmer leader said – we will hold rally
Regarding the tractor rally itself, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has said that we will continue to take out a tractor rally in Delhi, who will stop us. Delhi is also for the farmers and Republic Day is also for the farmers. Rakesh Tikait said that why the police will stop us, we are coming on tractors and will not harm anyone. Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait said that the government is only talking with the farmers, not taking any decision. Many farmers have also been given notice by the NIA, if this happens, all the farmers will sit outside the NIA office. Farmers have also consulted ex-servicemen regarding the tractor rally, so that the tractor rally can be taken out on the occasion of Republic Day. During this time, farmers will put the points related to farming in their rally in front of the country. Ex-servicemen and players will also participate in this rally. Also, the farmers who lost their lives during the movement will also be saluted here.

At the same time, the Supreme Court showed strict attitude on the questions raised about the committee formed by the Supreme Court. Chief Justice SA Bobde said, “You don’t have to appear before the committee, but don’t brand anyone like this.” It is not right to spoil someone’s image like this. The Chief Justice said that if you tarnish someone’s image regarding public opinion, the court will not tolerate it. Discussions are being done on this side regarding the committee members. We will only decide the constitutionality of the case.
2 more farmers died at Tiki border
The elderly farmer Dhanna Singh, who was involved in demonstrations at the Tikari border, died on Wednesday, the cause of death is not yet known. Meanwhile, 42-year-old farmer Jai Bhagwan Rana also died. Rana, who hails from Rohtak district, ate sulfas on Tuesday. He was involved in a demonstration at the ticking border. Rana wrote in the suicide note – Now this movement is no more, but has become a battle of issues. There is no solution in the talks with the central government of the farmers.
Committee’s first meeting with farmers today
A committee constituted by the Supreme Court will meet with farmer organizations on Thursday to resolve the issue of agricultural laws. Farmers who will not come will also visit them. A portal has been created for taking online suggestions. Farmers’ suggestions will be taken by 15 March. Earlier, the petition was heard in the Supreme Court on the plea to change the committee members citing personal opinion in favor of laws. Chief Justice SA Bobde said that a person cannot be disqualified for being a member of the committee due to his earlier views.
