On Tuesday, a special CBI court rejected the petition of Indrani Mukherjee, the prime accused in the Mumbai Sheena Bora murder case, in which she had requested for exemption from wearing prescribed saris for the sentenced inmates on the ground that the undertrials Huh. It is to be known that Indrani Mukherjee has been lodged in Mumbai’s Byculla Women’s Jail since her arrest in the murder case of her own daughter Sheena Bora in the year 2015. Along with this, Indrani, through her lawyer, filed a petition and requested to be exempted from wearing this sari. But his application has been rejected by Special Judge JC Jagdale. It may be noted that in April 2012, 24-year-old Sheena was strangled to death inside a car. Indrani, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and her former driver Shyamvar Rai were arrested in 2015 on charges of killing Sheena. Indrani’s then husband Peter was later accused in the case and arrested. According to the investigation, apart from Sheena’s relationship with Rahul, a financial dispute was a possible motive behind the murder. After this, the investigation of the case was handed over to the CBI.
