Mumbai: Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has clearly stated that she intends to provide opportunities to outsiders through her production house. Her remark is being viewed as a sign of fresh thinking and a positive shift within the industry.
The actress attended the launch event of her upcoming production venture, Don’t Be Shy, which was unveiled during a major event hosted by Amazon Prime Video. While several other projects were also announced at the event, the conversation between Alia and filmmaker Karan Johar drew the most attention.
During the interaction, Karan Johar, in a light-hearted manner, praised Alia, saying that she has now evolved into a sensible and experienced producer. He added that her responses are often more mature and insightful than his questions. In response, Alia smiled and remarked that there is a certain way actors are introduced and launched in the industry.
