Bengaluru: Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Virat Kohli has cautioned his team that the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League will be more challenging than ever. He emphasized that all players must approach the tournament with greater seriousness and commitment.
Kohli stated that every team will enter the competition with the specific aim of defeating Royal Challengers Bengaluru, as they are the defending champions. “All teams will put in their maximum effort against us,” he said, underlining the heightened level of competition RCB is likely to face this season.
RCB is scheduled to begin its campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad later this month. In a video shared by the franchise, Kohli was seen motivating and addressing his teammates.
He added that the team’s success in the previous season was the result of consistent hard work over the past two to three years, and stressed the importance of maintaining that same level of dedication moving forward.
