New Delhi: Intelligence agencies have issued a high-level alert following inputs indicating a potential terrorist threat in the national capital, Delhi, as well as in several other major cities across the country. According to the latest intelligence reports, the Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba is allegedly plotting attacks targeting the historic Red Fort in Delhi along with prominent temples in key cities.
In response to the perceived threat, security has been significantly tightened in sensitive locations nationwide, with law enforcement agencies placed on heightened alert to prevent any untoward incident.
