Total Team Salary Lower Than Even Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer

Lahore. The gap between India’s Indian Premier League (IPL) and Pakistan’s Super League (PSL) has once again become evident. Ahead of the 2026 season, the PSL has increased players’ salaries. Even after this revision, the total earnings of PSL players remain lower than the salaries of Indian IPL stars such as Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that the salary cap has been raised from 1.3 million (approximately ₹11.3 crore) to 1.6 million (approximately ₹14.5 crore) per team. This is the maximum amount each of the eight teams is permitted to spend at the auction. Overall, the combined salary cap for all eight teams will be 12.8 million, which is approximately ₹116.48 crore.
