Six Women Killed in Head-On Collision Between Car and Truck in Sikar District

Sikar: At least six women lost their lives and three others were critically injured in a head-on collision between an Ertiga car and a truck on the Jaipur–Bikaner National Highway in Rajasthan’s Sikar district. The accident occurred at around 4:00 PM near Harsava village under the jurisdiction of the Fatehpur police station.

According to the police, all the victims belonged to the same family and were returning from Laxmangarh after attending a funeral. The family was traveling in two vehicles, with the Ertiga car leading the way, when it collided head-on with an oncoming truck.

The impact was so severe that the car was completely mangled, trapping the occupants inside the wreckage. Eyewitnesses reported that local residents rushed to the scene and assisted in rescuing the injured and retrieving bodies from the debris before emergency services arrived.

The injured were initially admitted to the trauma center in Fatehpur for treatment. However, as their condition deteriorated, they were referred to a medical facility with advanced treatment capabilities for further care.
