Paris: French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot has said that when the United States puts forward proposals that are unacceptable, Europe also has the right to raise its voice against them and say no. Barrot’s remarks come amid growing frustration among some of Washington’s allies over how President Donald Trump’s “America First” foreign and trade policies have undermined traditional relationships and alliances.
