New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu heads to Thiruvananthapuram today for a two-day engagement, headlining the Indian Navy Day 2025 operational demonstration off Shangumugham Beach as chief guest and supreme commander.
Power-Packed Naval Display
Murmu will observe high-speed maneuvers by warships, submarines, Hawks, fighter jets, combat free-fall jumps, and coordinated firings, showcasing the Navy’s multi-domain combat readiness and indigenous platforms under Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
The spectacle, live-streamed on Navy channels and Doordarshan from 4:30 PM, culminates in beachside performances including continuity drills, hornpipe dances by Sea Cadets, and fireworks.
