Delhi: Public sector oil marketing companies have increased the price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) by 5.4 percent in line with global market trends. The revised rates came into effect on Monday, December 1.

According to Indian Oil Corporation’s official website, the ATF price in New Delhi has risen by Rs 5,133.75 per kilolitre to Rs 99,676.77 per kilolitre. In Mumbai, aviation fuel now costs Rs 93,281.04 per kilolitre, while prices in Chennai and Kolkata have been revised to Rs 1,03,301.80 and Rs 1,02,371 per kilolitre respectively.

The oil companies—Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL)—revise aviation fuel prices on the first day of every month based on international benchmarks and currency exchange rates. Due to varying local taxes, fuel prices differ from city to city across India.
