Sydney: Australian spinner Adam Zampa has revealed the reasons behind his decision not to participate in the IPL 2026 season. Zampa stated that bowlers with his skill set were unlikely to receive ample opportunities or lucrative contracts. Consequently, he chose to stay away from the auction altogether.
Zampa had played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the previous IPL season; however, the franchise released him following the conclusion of the tournament.
