Ground Troops May Not Be Necessary in the War with Iran

Washington: Amid the ongoing conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran, President DonaldThumb stated on Tuesday that the deployment of ground troops may not be required. In an interview, Trump asserted that the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which resulted in the deaths of American personnel, would be avenged soon.

As of Monday, six American soldiers had reportedly been killed in action. Trump’s latest remarks differ from his earlier position. Following Saturday’s strikes on Iran, he told the New York Post that while many presidents claim there will be no ground deployment, he does not make such absolute statements. He explained that although ground forces might not be necessary, he would not rule out the possibility entirely.
