The Sanskrit word “Vriksha” means tree, and the posture is named accordingly. Just as a tree stands firmly rooted and remains stable even during strong winds or rain, this pose inspires individuals to stay calm and balanced amid life’s challenges.

According to experts, Vrikshasana is an effective yoga posture for improving physical balance. It is performed by standing on one leg with the hands joined in a prayer position, which enhances stability and coordination.
