Washington: Amid rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and the ongoing standoff with Iran, U.S. President Donald Trump has taken a significant strategic step. The Trump administration has given approval for the large-scale sale of advanced military weapons to Israel and Saudi Arabia, two of Iran’s key regional rivals. Under this landmark decision, the United States will sell military equipment and arms worth $6.67 billion to Israel and approximately $9 billion to Saudi Arabia.
