Washington: Discussions have intensified following the trade agreement reached between India and the United States. U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins has claimed that, after this agreement, the United States will be able to export its agricultural products to the Indian market on a large scale. She stated that this would help American farmers secure better prices and increase the flow of money into rural America. However, as the Indian government has not yet made the full terms of the agreement public, the U.S. statements have raised concerns among political circles and farmers’ organizations in India.
