New Delhi: After Tata Motors’ new Punch facelift received a 5-star safety rating under Bharat NCAP, questions were raised regarding its crash test video. The video became a topic of widespread discussion on social media. Amid the speculation, Tata Motors issued an official statement to clarify the situation. The company stated that the confusion arose due to an editing error in the video. According to Tata Motors, only a single new Punch facelift vehicle was used during the crash test. In the test, the micro-SUV collided head-on with a stationary Tata LPT truck, and no under-run occurred.
