Five killed and over 50 injured in road accidents caused by fog
New Delhi: The impact of snowfall that occurred on Friday in the higher-altitude regions from Kashmir to Himachal Pradesh is now being felt across northern India. Intense cold conditions are prevailing in nearly a dozen states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Cold winds descending from the mountains, along with a western disturbance, have led to cold-wave conditions and dense fog in the plains, disrupting normal daily life.
