Delhi: Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in India on a two-day state visit beginning December 4 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the visit, he will participate in the 23rd Annual India-Russia Summit, which will be held in New Delhi.
The Ministry of External Affairs on Friday announced the visit in an official press release, confirming that President Putin will hold wide-ranging talks with Prime Minister Modi. President Droupadi Murmu will host a banquet in honour of the visiting dignitary.
According to the statement, the upcoming state visit will provide both leaders an opportunity to review the full spectrum of bilateral relations between India and Russia. The discussions are expected to outline a new vision for strengthening the “Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership” between the two countries.
