New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to the state of Assam on Friday for a two-day visit. During the tour, the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation, lay foundation stones, perform ground-breaking ceremonies, and inaugurate multiple development projects worth more than ₹47,800 crore in Kokrajhar, Guwahati, and Silchar.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also release the 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme for more than 93 million farmers across the country.
Under the scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹2,000 directly into their bank accounts as part of the financial assistance provided by the government.
