Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended heartfelt birthday greetings to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, commending his unwavering dedication to public service and his strong commitment to strengthening India’s internal security. Shah turned 61 this year.
In a post on the social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi wrote, “Heartiest birthday wishes to Home Minister Amit Shah Ji. He has played a key role in strengthening India’s internal security framework and has made commendable efforts to ensure that every Indian lives a safe and dignified life. I pray for his long and healthy life.”
Responding to the Prime Minister’s message, Amit Shah expressed his gratitude, writing on X, “Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, thank you for your kind wishes. Your inspiring words have always motivated us to serve the nation better and to realise your vision for India. I deeply appreciate your continued guidance and support as we work together toward building a developed nation.”
Shah’s birthday coincided with the Gujarati New Year. According to a statement issued by the BJP, during his visit to his home state for Diwali, the Home Minister will participate in public celebrations on Thursday along with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also extended birthday greetings to Amit Shah, wishing him a long life and praising his exceptional organizational abilities. In a Hindi post on X, Yogi Adityanath wrote, “Heartiest birthday greetings to the popular leader of the people and the architect of the nation’s internal security, Honourable Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji. Your remarkable blend of discipline, diligence, and organizational skill is truly inspiring. I pray to Lord Shri Ram for your good health, long life, and continued success. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also extended his greetings, writing, “Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Honourable Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji on his birthday. We wish him good health and a long life.”
