Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu, addressing the nation on Constitution Day, lauded several landmark government decisions, stating that measures such as the abolition of triple talaq, the implementation of GST, the abrogation of Article 370, and the enactment of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam have provided new impetus to social justice, economic integration, and women-led development in the country.
The ceremony, held in the Central Hall of the Samvidhan Sadan (Old Parliament House), was marked by the President’s release of a digital version of the Constitution in nine languages.
