New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in the Constitution Day celebrations at the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan on Wednesday, November 26, marking the 76th anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution.In a ceremony beginning at 11 AM, President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla, and Members of Parliament from both Houses are expected to join the event, underscoring the Constitution’s enduring significance in Indian democracy.
A ceremonial reading of the Preamble, led by President Murmu, will highlight the programme, reaffirming national commitment to constitutional values. A landmark moment of the day will be the unveiling of translated versions of the Constitution of India in nine regional languages—Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Punjabi, Bodo, Kashmiri, Telugu, Odia, and Assamese—aimed at promoting accessibility and inclusivity across the nation.
Additionally, the commemorative booklet “भारत के संविधान में कला और कैलीग्राफी” will be released, spotlighting the art and calligraphic heritage embedded in India’s founding document.
