Kabul: The ongoing tension along the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan has now reached an extremely dangerous turning point. In the latest development, fighter jets of the Pakistani Air Force reportedly targeted the fuel depot of the private airline Kam Air, located near Kandahar Airport, along with nearby residential areas.
The depot is considered strategically significant as it not only supplies fuel for civilian flights but also provides fuel to aircraft operated by the United Nations. According to experts, the strike appears to be an attempt to disrupt Afghanistan’s logistics network at a time when the world is already grappling with an international oil crisis.
