Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Thursday extended warm congratulations to Nitish Kumar on being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the tenth term.
In a social media post, Majhi praised Nitish Kumar’s longstanding contribution to public service, noting that his leadership continues to inspire not only the people of Bihar but the nation as a whole.
The Chief Minister also congratulated the newly appointed Deputy Chief Ministers and the members of the Council of Ministers. He said the decisive mandate given to the BJP and the NDA in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections reflects the people’s trust in principled and people-centric governance.
Majhi expressed gratitude to party workers, leaders, and voters for their efforts and support, adding that the NDA’s emphasis on stability and transformative development remains central to its governance model.
Referring to the recent electoral gains, including the NDA’s strong performance in Bihar and the BJP’s victory in the Nuapada by-poll in Odisha, the Chief Minister said the results reaffirm public confidence in the BJP, the NDA, and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Majhi further congratulated the people of Bihar for reinforcing the strength of democracy and extended his best wishes for a productive and impactful tenure for the new government. He expressed hope that the administration would continue working toward peace, prosperity, and the overall well-being of all sections of society.
