Moscow. Global diplomatic efforts to end the prolonged conflict between Ukraine and Russia appear to be reaching a decisive moment. However, no concrete outcome emerged from a three-hour meeting, with only cautious hope for peace expressed. In Russia’s capital, Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin held intensive discussions lasting more than three hours with a U.S. delegation. According to information released by the Kremlin, the meeting began late at night and continued until 3 a.m. on Friday.

The U.S. delegation was led by President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff, along with Jared Kushner and Josh Gruenbaum. Representing Russia were Putin’s close aide Yuri Ushakov and Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Sovereign Wealth Fund.
