New Delhi Deoband’s prominent Islamic scholar, Maulana Madani, emphasized that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) blessed humanity with a faith rooted in love and compassion. He said that through unity and brotherhood, the nation will one day revive its glorious legacy of harmony.
Addressing a gathering organized by Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind at Parade Ground under the banner of “Tahaffuz-e-Khatm-e-Nubuwwat,” Maulana Madani stated that seeds of hatred once sown in the country have now grown into trees. “The only way to counter the politics of hatred and bulldozers is with love,” he declared.
He further added, “Today, politics based on hatred and bulldozers is dominating the nation. The only answer, without any religious discrimination, lies in love, humanity, and mutual help. Merely saying ‘I love Muhammad’ is not true affection; real love for the Prophet means embodying his character and way of life.”
Maulana Madani observed that “the market of hatred” is thriving because those spreading it hold power. “We must resist it with love,” he said. He appealed to Muslims to practice patience and spread the message of love despite ongoing attempts to sow division in society.
He also stressed that maintaining the unity and peace of the nation is the duty of every citizen. “Through our spirit of brotherhood,” he said, “a day will come when the country will once again relive its historic culture of harmony.”
The event was also addressed by Maulana Ashhad Madani, State President of Jamiat; Hafiz Abdul Quddus, Masoom Saqib, and Maulana Abdul Qasim Nomani.
