Revelation Made in an Interview by Iran’s Assembly of Experts

Tehran: Following the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, his son Mojtaba Khamenei has been chosen as his successor. However, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei himself never wished for his son to assume this position. In fact, during his lifetime, he reiterated this stance on several occasions.

The reason behind this was not fear of an attack or concern for his son’s safety, but something else entirely. According to media reports, this detail was revealed in an interview by Mahmoud Mohammadi Iraqi, a senior member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts.
