Enemy Underground Bunkers Could Be Destroyed at the Press of a Button from Delhi
New Delhi — In modern warfare, missiles play a critically important role. Today, several countries around the world possess advanced missile systems capable of carrying hundreds of tons of explosives and striking targets thousands of kilometers away. These are known as Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs).
India has developed such capabilities under its Agni missile series. The Agni-5 ballistic missile, in particular, is capable of carrying nuclear weapons. Indian defense scientists are now working on developing a missile system that can function as a bunker-buster, specifically designed to penetrate and destroy heavily fortified underground structures.
