Beijing: China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi made an important statement regarding relations between India and China, emphasizing that the two nations should view each other as partners rather than rivals, and as opportunities rather than threats. He stressed that cooperation and mutual trust between the two countries are essential for Asia’s development and for maintaining global balance.
It is worth noting that relations between the two countries remained tense for nearly five years due to the military standoff in the Eastern Ladakh region. However, following recent high-level meetings, a process to normalize ties has begun. Both sides have taken several steps, including the resumption of visa and flight services, leading to gradual improvement in bilateral relations.
