Jaipur: On Friday night, the terrifying face of high-speed driving was witnessed in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, when a speeding Audi car ran over people who were standing by the roadside in the Mansarovar area, searching for a livelihood. In this horrific hit-and-run incident near Kharbas Circle under the jurisdiction of the Patrakar Colony police station, Ramesh Bairwa, a resident of Bhilwara, lost his life, while around 16 others were injured. Four of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.
This tragic incident not only claimed a life but also raised serious questions about the city’s nightlife, reckless speeding, and the state of law and order.
