In the latest ICC Women’s ODI rankings, Smriti Mandhana claims the top spot; Alana King rises to No. 1 in bowling charts

Dubai: In the most recent update to the One-Day International (ODI) rankings released by the International Cricket Council, India’s women’s team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has ascended to the No. 1 position in the batting standings. Mandhana’s rise follows her impressive performances in the three-match ODI series against Australia women’s national cricket team.

Meanwhile, South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt has slipped to second place. Mandhana scored 58 and 31 runs during the ODI series against Australia, boosting her rating points to 790. She has now moved ahead of Wolvaardt, who holds 782 points. Australia’s Beth Mooney occupies the third position with 745 rating points.

In the bowling rankings, Australia’s Alana King has climbed to the No. 1 spot, marking a significant achievement in her ODI career.
